We frequently get a lot of lint coming out of the exterior vent for our dryer, out on our roof. We clean the filter after every load. I recently hired a company to clean out our vents as well as our interior tube and machine. He said he fixed some kinks on tube that I thought may have caused the issue. This was just a month ago. Just a month later, we're already seeing lint again on our roof. We aren't over drying our clothes. I don't understand why we keep encountering this. Does anyone have any ideas why we seem to keep having this ongoing issue? We have two small kids so we do a lot of laundry.

I pulled out my iPhone flashlight to get a better view at the area underneath the filter and was shocked at what I found. It's like the previous owners didn't even know about the filter... In any case, wanted to post a PSA here in case anyone runs into the same situation as myself. Built-up lint is a fire hazard!
